P.S. 212 Principal’s Message

Dear P.S. 212

As we come to the close of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared at PS 212 and to thank you for being an essential part of our community.

This year has been filled with growth, achievement, and unforgettable moments. From the first day of school to the last, our students have shown curiosity, kindness, and resilience. Whether it was learning new math skills, diving into great books, performing in concerts, participating in science fairs, or cheering on classmates at field day, our students have made us all proud.

To our families, thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in your child’s education, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us every day.

To our dedicated teachers and staff, your passion, creativity, and commitment have created a nurturing and dynamic environment where every child can thrive. You go above and beyond, and it shows in every smile, every milestone, and every success.

To our fifth graders: Congratulations! You’ve reached an exciting milestone, and we are so proud of all you’ve accomplished. As you move on to middle school, know that you always have a home here at PS 212.

As we look forward to the summer, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. Keep reading, exploring, and staying curious — learning doesn’t stop when the school year ends!

We’re already looking ahead to another wonderful year ahead and can’t wait to welcome everyone back in the fall.

With warmest regards and best wishes for a joyful summer.

Rina Horne
